Volunteers are the heart of Andy’s Angels. Our greatest need is for our Annual Tree-Giving Event, held every year on the first Saturday of December. Volunteers — especially those with pick-up trucks or large SUVs — help deliver fresh Christmas trees, ornaments, and lights to families facing cancer. Depending on each family’s wishes, volunteers may also help set up and decorate the trees. Recipients are all over the Metro-Jacksonville area. If you are limited to a specific area (for example North Metro, or the Beaches), please add that to the notes on your volunteer sign up.
We will email volunteers within a few weeks of the Tree-Giving event to confirm your participation and provide you with details including where to meet and pick up your trees, your recipients, their addresses and more.
There are many other ways to support our mission, including sharing our social media posts, spreading the word about Andy’s Angels,
becoming a sponsor or helping identify potential sponsors, and attending our fun-raisers throughout the year.
